Questions
Frequently Asked
Do you accept insurance?
No. Preventive health screenings are not currently covered by medical insurance — though that's something we're actively working to change. In the meantime, FSA and HSA funds can be used to pay for all of our services.
How is Longevity Metrics different from my primary care doctor?
We operate upstream from your primary care physician — focused on disease prevention, early detection, and lifestyle optimization before problems arise. Our comprehensive screenings shed light on what's actually happening inside your body, making it far easier for both you and your PCP to understand your health and make confident decisions. We're not a replacement for your doctor; we're a powerful addition to your care team.
Do I need a referral?
No referral needed. Just schedule directly through the website and we'll take it from there.
Who owns my health data?
You do. Your personal health information belongs to you, full stop. Longevity Metrics also uses fully de-identified data — meaning nothing that can be traced back to you — in our clinical research program. This research helps us answer fundamental questions about what makes people healthier and functionally younger, and ultimately benefits every patient we see.
How is my health information protected?
All identifiable patient data is stored locally on our own hardware and is never transmitted to external servers or the cloud. Our clinic operates under continuous camera surveillance, with all physical spaces locked and access-controlled. We've built our infrastructure from the ground up with your privacy as the priority.
Will my data be used for research?
Yes. Longevity Metrics conducts ongoing clinical research using de-identified patient data — your personal identity is never attached to any research record. This work helps us continually refine the care we deliver and contributes to answering some of the most important questions in longevity medicine.
Can I share my results with other doctors?
Yes — and we strongly encourage it. Your screening results are designed to be shared. The more your existing providers know about your health, the better care you'll receive across the board. We provide clear, detailed summaries that any clinician can quickly understand and act on.
Is this right for me if I'm already healthy?
Absolutely — especially if you're healthy. The early signs of chronic disease are often hiding inside people who look and feel perfectly fine. At Longevity Metrics, we find those signs years — and sometimes decades — before they would surface in a traditional medical setting. The earlier we establish your baselines, the more time you have to act.
